EDITORIAL POLICY – GOOGLE NEWS COMPLIANT
At News Inc India, journalism is public service. This Editorial Policy is to maintain transparency and trust as required by Google News, Google Discover, and Press Council of India.
1. Accuracy & Verification
We follow two-source verification. Every news, especially Chhattisgarh politics and crime news, is checked with primary sources, official statements, police, administration, or direct stakeholders. We do not publish rumours from WhatsApp without verification.
2. Independence & Non-Partisanship
News Inc India is an independent media house. We are not owned, funded, or controlled by any political party, government, corporate house or foreign entity. We are bootstrapped and funded by founder. Our sister agency Social Monster works with various political clients for PR and campaign management, but there is a strict firewall between advertising/PR business and editorial. Editorial decisions are taken solely by Editor-in-Chief Mr. Ranjan Jha and editorial team, independent of any client of Social Monster.
3. Fairness & Impartiality
We give opportunity to all sides to present their version, especially in political news and allegations. We do not take sides. Our headlines are not clickbait or misleading. We differentiate clearly between News, Analysis, Opinion, and Sponsored Content.
4. Transparency of Sponsored Content
If any content is paid, advertorial, PR feature, or sponsored by a client of Social Monster or direct advertiser, it will be clearly labelled at top as Sponsored Post / Brand Post / Advertorial / PR Feature / Paid Promotion. Such content is not considered editorial content.
5. Leadership
Final editorial authority rests with Founder & Editor-in-Chief Mr. Ranjan Jha, who has 23+ years experience in Punjab Kesri, Dainik Purvoday and other media. He adheres to Norms of Journalistic Conduct issued by Press Council of India.
